Big weekend

Annika had her first bath on Sunday! She was very, very confused, and did not like it at first -- some crying, a little screaming -- but she eventually settled down some, and she seemed to really enjoy the hair-washing portion of the event. There were photos and video taken -- look to MC Mixmaster R. to get those posted soon.

Meanwhile, she went with us on a little outing to the cafe down the block for our lunch on Saturday -- a very warm day with no wind, sort of like what normal people who live in normal places know as "summer." She behaved really well, only threatening to cry just once, and we got to eat and read the papers in peace. Her baby ratings were way up after that.
