Partyin' like it's 1999

Thanks to Aunt A, who is better than we are at getting photos off of her camera and out into the world so people can see them, here's a pic from our shower on August 4.

The bear is something our friend K created in response to us saying we didn't want Kid A to get a whole bunch of Licensed Disney Character stuff -- he had a tailor in the neighborhood cut two bears in half and sew them together. My friend J called it Bear-Bear, and so it shall ever be ...

The shower, hosted by K&K at their house, was a good time for all, from the ice cubes with tiny plastic babies frozen inside them (yeah, that was a little freaky, but hilarious), to the mix of people we had, to the baby gear we got. All showers should be that much fun!
